The Royal Opera House is an opera house and major performing arts venue in Covent Garden, central London. The large building is often referred to as simply Covent Garden, after a previous use of the site. It is the home of The Royal Opera, The Royal Ballet, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.

5 months agoAn exquisite evening, be it an elegant evening planned in advance or something casual and last minute. Their dress code is very relaxed, but that doesn't take away from the elegant experience. The architecture and ambiance are simply outstanding. I went to see the Nutcracker as my first ballet show and I absolutely loved it. Will return and highly recommend it for an evening to remember.

8 months agoMajestic venue, living up to its billing as one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world. The spectacular, visually overwhelming staging of Mozart's The Magic Flute perfectly combined with the frankly inspired vocal performances to stir emotions and imagination alike. Bravo indeed!

6 months agoThis was my first time inside having admired the building from the outside for 20 years! Beautiful architecture and features. Amazing sound. Oh yeah, and the opera bit was pretty awesome too 😀

3 months agoA beautiful building inside out. The ceilings of the main opera hall are wondering. The upper rows can be quite high above the scene, but there is nothing obstructing the view. Acoustic is very good. There is a substantial dining area and a number or bars with refreshments. Love the place
